Biography
Shortly after Graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Shawn began working as an animator and graphic designer at a major firm in Boca Raton, Florida. This start gave him the opportunity to work with clients such as Blockbuster, Sprint and The American Cancer Society. He then moved on to designing toys and illustrating art for Buddy-L, Grand Champions, Rugrats, Big wheel and Crocodile Mile. Magazine editorial illustration soon followed along with the honor of winning a Silver Addy for a Motorola training manual cover illustration. Shawn also designed innovative packaging for popular Disney brands such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, Disney Princess, Treasure Planet, Lilo & Stitch, Tarzan and Tinkerbell.
As an Art Director/Designer at a small but talented advertising firm in South Florida, Shawn was able to stretch his legs creating, designing and illustrating campaigns for Merrill Lynch, Lincoln Mercury, 1800inkjets, DBS Labs and more. Future fortune 500 clients soon followed including Citi Bank, AT&T, ADT, Time Warner Cable, American Express, Discover Card, Embarq, TXU Energy and the Review and Herald Publishing Association.
