I recently attended the first Naples Quick Draw Event in Naples, Florida. This event was a fundraiser for Legal Aid Service, which provides legal assistance for those who cannot afford it, including veterans, domestic abuse victims and their children. 26 well-known and honored artists were invited to participate in this prestigious event. We managed to raise almost $28,000! I did 2 small 6x8 paintings which sold for $1750. Photos by Ralph Papa.

My painting, Sunrays, is featured in the Dramatic Lighting section of Plein Air Magazine. August issue, page 22.

I'll be part of the Hypoluxo Island Plein Air Exhibition at the Manalapan Island Library. 1330 Lands End Road on the Southern end of Hypoluxo Island. May 6th through July 13th.

Hypoluxo Island is best known for being the home of Winston Churchill. His home was located behind the library and he often painted outdoors.

I'm honored to have won this year's Everglades day paint out. It was a rainy and cold morning but I managed to paint this little canvas. Thank you to everyone at Loxahatchee!

I was invited to paint with 4 other artists at the Norton Museum's grand re-opening after major renovations. Located in West Palm Beach, Florida, this museum is one of the best in Florida.

​Shawn had the honor of being part of the Boca Raton Museum of Art Faculty Show for the month of September, 2018. This was the first time his painting The Mentor was on public exhibition.
